Sweetroot was born out of a simple struggle: finding clean, unadulterated traditional sweeteners in a market dominated by refined white sugar.

At Sweetroot, we believe that returning to our roots is the simplest way to live a healthier, more balanced life. Modern diets are filled with heavily processed sugars, but traditional Indian kitchens have always relied on unrefined, natural sweeteners that nourish the body rather than harm it.

We started by revisiting age-old practices—like making authentic Dhaga Mishri (crystallized cane sugar with its natural thread), traditional Khand, and rich, unrefined Jaggery. What began as a personal journey to eat cleaner grew into a commitment to share these authentic flavors with every household.
